Story:

Nagababu a cop passes away on duty and his two kids are transformed into Siva Rama Krishna (Sunil) a timid natured guy who takes up his father’s job as police officer and Karthik (Naga Chaitanya) turns into a hard nut. Sivarama Krishna happens to get married to Nandu(Andrea Jeremiah). Pallavi (Tamanna) is her sister and she falls in love with Karthik.

Siva Rama takes help of Kathika to punish the villain Bagga(Ashutosh Rana) group, Siva Rama loses his fear and becomes physically stronger through training from his younger brother. How Bagga reacts ? How these brothers tackle him? …. forms the story

Performances

Naga Chaitanya emerges as an action hero, his intensity , body language , his comedy timing has improved to be a complete star.

Sunil as an actor always gives his best in any kind of role , Here as sensitive and timid natured person ,audience could feel his earlier comedy touch and later he becomes a touch guy , this variation in his character is felt.

Tammana is a treat to watch , she looked very glamorous especially in beach song in transparent dresses. Andrea Jeremiah confined to songs.

Ashutosh Rana as a powerful villain , showed heights in villain-ism , Brahmandam Rama Prabha, Jaya Prakash Reddy managed laughs. Vennela Kishore comes NRI who comes to marry Pallavi is good.

Technical

Thanman’ music is good , could be better. BGM is very good and effective to elevate the scenes. Wilson’s cinematography is good. Goutham Raju’s editing could have been better. Screenplay is week in second half. Kanal Kannan’s fights are good

Analysis

Thadaka is a comeback film for Chaitu who is suffering with flops all these years, Director Dolly made his sincere efforts to add more commercial elements and the brother’s bonding makes it a complete commercial package for family audience. On screen chemistry between Thamana and Naga Chaitanya is really superb, The first 30 minutes of Brami’s comedy made audience to giggle in theatre. The major flaw is predictable story with  too much Violence, makes audience  bit uneasy to watch these action sequences and some extras like Naga Chaitanya runs and overtakes a speeding train. The first half is entertains, second half is just good with pace falling down a bit. Overall, Thadaka is a mass film with all commercial elements to be a hit film.

Chaitu’s comeback film.
